For the second consecutive year, Butlin’s Skegness resort has been given a prestigious award, the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice award, which places them in the top 1% of properties worldwide.
Travellers’ Choice award winners are determined based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from TripAdvisor travellers worldwide. In the 17th year of the prestigious awards, TripAdvisor has recognised 7,812 properties in 94 countries and eight regions worldwide, meaning Butlin’s are keeping extremely esteemed company.
Currently holding a four-star rating out of five on TripAdvisor, including four stars for location, service and value, it is the perfect seaside getaway. Of more than the 2,700 reviews that rated the resort as ‘excellent’, one reviewer said of their recent stay: “A great place to go if you need something to do at every turn, plenty to entertain your family and friends”, with others claiming they’d definitely go back.
The hallmarks of Travellers’ Choice winners are remarkable service, value and quality, and receiving the prestigious award for the second-year running is something Butlin’s are extremely proud of.
Resort Director, Chris Baron, had his say about the news: “At a time when there are so many choices for families both here and abroad, areas such as service, value and quality really do make a difference. They are something we pride ourselves upon, so to be recognised by users of a site such as Trip Advisor is a huge reward for our team and for the effort they put in to making every break for every family as special as possible.”
Desirée Fish, vice president of global communications for TripAdvisor, said: “We congratulate the properties around the world which receive our highest honour: the Travellers’ Choice awards. Winners should be proud of their award as millions of travellers will consider the list when picking the perfect location for their needs this year.”
