From coffee to compost

Shopping can be thirsty work. So visitors to The Cornish Bakery and Pret a Manger at Clarks Village will be thrilled to know Clarks Village in Somersetthat they can enjoy their favourite coffee safe in the knowledge that the used grounds will be turned into compost.

The stunning landscaped gardens at Clarks Village are nourished by the high in nitrogen, waste coffee grounds which are mixed with organic compost matter. So by drinking a cup of coffee this summer, next year’s bulbs and plants will get an extra boost to make them grow even more beautifully.
