Christmas events at The Bentall Centre in Kingston

Toy Testers at Bentall Centre

What: The Bentall Centre is inviting local families to come along to their two-day toy-testing event on December 1st and 2nd, where children will get the chance to try popular toys and give parents an idea of what’s best for Christmas, before they make purchases. Children are invited to put the best toys for Christmas to the test to see if they’ll be a hit under the Christmas tree or if they should be left at the North Pole for the elves to work on for next year. With fun characters to help children test the best toys and games, this

Who's Going Where For Christmas?

As families embark on the annual arrangements for who goes where for Christmas, a North West hospitality group is offering festive getaways perfect for those who find themselves facing a quieter time this year.

James' Places marketing manager Heidi Kettle explained: "It's a perennial issue, especially when there are young grandchildren - which grandparents to go to, host at home and invite both sets, but how about more extended families or when multiple grandparents are involved? We've got just the thing for couples who may find themselves on a family ‘bye' this year."

Christmas in London

It is difficult to find Christmas things for the family to do in London that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Thank goodness for Step Outside Guides, who have published a delightful book which does exactly that.

‘Christmas in London’ captures the excitement and splendour of London during the festive season without calling for any help from your already groaning purse or wallet, since everything in the day is cost-free. But this doesn’t mean you will be short-changed in any way.

The Christmas Markets are back at the Brewery

“It’s Christmas time…and there’s no need to be afraid” because the team at Lancaster Brewery, once again, have it all sorted for gifts, festive food, stocking fillers and presents for your loved ones.

Now in its fourth year, this hugely popular event, at Lancaster Leisure Park, is back.  Taking place between 3pm and 9pm on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November, this year our exhibitors will be housed in a huge indoor marquee to keep you warm and dry, whilst you browse stalls packed full of crafts, gifts and goodies to add to your present list.
